Some kickstarter tower cases?
« on: August 31, 2014, 09:47:24 AM »
Hi,
Who would want a run of redone tower cases A3000 or A4000?
What about a 1/2 scale A3000 tower with atx comaptible. Would suit FPGA Amiga.

I agree with the above, plenty of failed projects.

In this case the initial development would be high, so kickstarter would suit it.

For A1200 tower you would want something large, slimliine and light?

The A1200 tower (with itx mounting also) must be the best one to go with.
It should be nice if you can do most of it via 3d printer.

I should also try a desktop where you can drop the A1200 in and not have to modify anything.

I've found a lovely choice. Some of the cases by Fractal Design.

Here is a link to one of them:

They start from $150. Does anyone know if these are really popular at the moment?

These ones are nice:

It is really a retro design.

If you wanted something like the original cases the price would be too high.

As an alternative someone might make add-on parts from a 3-D printer?

@som99

That is an impressive case. Styled like a V-8
