Title: SCM PCD-60b SCSI multi card reader is read only

Dear Amigans,

I have an SCM PCD-60b SCSI multicard reader connected externally to my GVP-A530. Unfortunately it acts as read-only. I found out that there is a firmware out there that is read only and that I could update it to the latest (1.28) which would be read/write.

However, I’m not able to locate the latest firmware, let alone the procedure to follow.

What I already tried:
- Using several CF cards (512MB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB)
- Formatted the card using other Amigas to verify that it is not the CF card
- Using the PCMCIA slot (PCMCIA2CF)
- Compact Flash slot

Anyone here that could point me in the right direction?

Any help will be appreciated.
