Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone have any idea how to nicely line the desktop icons vertically? If I select clean up by column from the window menu it does nothing. Selecting clean up by name, date, size or type the icons line up horizontally right at the top of the screen (which makes selecting them awkward as the Amibench menu bar pops up over them a bit!).

(first world problems lol!).

Thanks,

Nick.

Add this line to your user-startup :

makelink RAM:Disk.info ENVARC:Sys/def_RAM.info soft

After that, just arrange the icons how you like them (drag them where you want) and do a SNAPSHOT ALL ...

Reset and you're done :)

OctaMED v4 doesn't like to play ball with Amibench. See attached.

A600GS & A1200NG / Re: A600GS Updates

Hi,

I'm still not able to play mp4 videos after updating to 1155. When selecting the video from Amibench it's saying "unable to open armmpegfile library, please ensure avcodec is installed via the advanced update menu".

When I try this by ticking avcodec.lhapps from the advanced update menu it says fetching avcodec.lhapps for about 30/40 seconds, then just drops back to the Advanced update menu.

Thankfully after the update it no longer tries to fetch the file every time I switch the 600gs on! :)

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Nick.

Thank you that worked perfectly

Yes, my thought was that it was better to revive the old thread than to make a new one with a link to the old one, since from what I can tell, people don’t bother following such links anyways.

Zampo loves unconditionally all food, but loves chocolate more than everything! So, he just has to start his quest from a chocolate factory ;)

(Given that the zone is still work-in-progress, the graphics shown in the video are subject to change.)

The FACTORY zone is the only one that is missing before the game is complete and the good news is that it is almost done:
 * map: 80%
 * music: 99%
 * tiles: 100%
 * code: 100%

Yes. Will post update when appropriate.

The webserver has been temporarily shut down.

Amigaworld.net should be back up and quite a bit faster.

Thanks to Sibbi as always!!

Restart the A600GS menu.
Then try gain, sometimes the underlying curl  objects cache stale size data, when a file is replaced on the server.

The current update is 1155 so you definitely have stale data there,
