there was plenty of good discussion here on 68k future HW development and the like, but it wasn't on-topic. so i've created a new thread for all of that here. please keep discussion in this thread limited to the thread topic, namely A-EON's offer to assist commercial developers of amiga software. thanks.

indeed. i asked this to ssolie at amiwest myself. i hope A-EON and hyperion can work something out. we already have a terrific update system integrated into the default install. it'd be wonderful to also be able to go to the 'Workbench' menu and select 'Store...' as well. at least IMO.

@dschallock

if i recall correctly matthew has been working on an AOS3 build of amistore for some time. where exactly it is in terms of status, i have no idea.

given we kinda went off the rails here, i've moved off-topic posts to two new threads. for those of you interested in discussing P96 and opening up old software, please head to this thread. for those of you interested in a rant on companies somehow destroying the amiga, you can head to the sock drawer thread.
