These app requests drive me nuts when most devices I use have excellent browsers

Which is all fine and dandy but Amiga.org does not have a mobile website like most other sites seem to have these days.

Because of repeated requests I will add Tapatalk support very soon. The option will be available to not use it for those that hate it.

Any news on how far support for Tapatalk is progressing?

If you need help implementing it I'm sure quite a few of us here would be more than willing to assist.
