Got a similar case, mine's got a red power switch, don't know if it indicate diffrerent hardware. I too got the idea to put my A1200 in it, but I didn't have a keyboard adapter back then (got it around '93 or '94), so the plan was put on ice. Guess I'll put a MiniITX board in it instead.

I have SX55 too... I think it's 286 inside :-) wanted to make new case for 1200... but never got spare 1200 :-D

That was an IBM Model 55. At one time it had OS/2 on it, but then I think it got Windows 3.1 put on it.

I wored for IBM (manufacturing) a long time ago and I rember finding a box of windowsNT for PPC CD.. sadly mine got scratched in a move....!

wait thats on os/2 box nice os wher ever is inside.  IDM did make PPC units as well, nor sure that is one...

No that`s an IBM PS2 System. It has either a 286 or 386 inside. We had two of those at work like 10 years ago or so.

is that IBM machine something with ppc inside? i had very similar at work, it was not bad for aix and db uses   8-)

Hmm... and a nice Impact series Indigo 2.  :)  Personally, I'd do something about that rubbish between the I2 and the Ami keyboard, though.  ;-)
