I play nothing. I have acquired The Loungest Journey almost a year ago, but haven't got time (or HDD space) to play it. But I have played Syberia 2, and it's superb.
So, what are you playing ? screenshots are welcomed.
EDIT:
Oh no, it's not showing on the index page.

I play FreeCiv now and again, and Battle for Wesnoth. Strategy and/or RPGs have the most long term appeal for me. Apart from that, I occasionally fire up old C64 and Amiga games... And I keep on having phases where I play some puzzle game manically for a few weeks because it's easy to get in 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there, often flash games. Most recently: http://www.jeanffy.com/haxe/haxealchemyst
At the moment I fantasize about writing my own bastard combination of Chambers of Shaolin, International Karate and Last Ninja, as they're some of my old favorites that I occasionally go back and play. Getting time for it is another matter.
-
On my PC:
Battle for Wesnoth (single player and multi)
Steel Storm (indie shoot em up in beta)
Penumbra (just getting started on this one)
Osmos and Revenge of the titans (indies, both good for a quick game)
On my miggy:
Historyline (grinding my way through the levels as the Germans)
Legions of Dawn (but yikes is it hard)
Quick games of various stuff. Turrican 2 and Deep Core have gotten a lot of play lately.
-
Widelands (http://wl.widelands.org/), Warzone2100 (http://wz2100.net/) and hedgewars (http://www.hedgewars.org/).
Occationally I'll kick back with some foobillards (http://foobillard.sourceforge.net/) as well.

It won't do - nothing does when its in the coffee house forums. You might want to speak to a mod about shifting it to a more suitable location outside of the coffee house :)

Guys, you are my opposites, I like adventure, you like strategy (and RPG). All I ever played strategy wise
were Megalomania (Amiga, and I think it was strategy, must've been), Civilization AGA (A1200) and Railroad Tycoon (PC - 486). They were really fun but I got kinda impatient after those. RPG ? well, what was it's name "Black Crypt" I believe. My friend liked RPGs alot, notably Dungeon Master, EYe of The Beholder and the like. I liked to watch but not play. I tried getting into them through "Black Crypt" (?) since it looked interesting for me, but it just didn't happen. I think Point'n'Click adventure games are my top favorite genre, have always loved them and still do.
I forgot to mention emulation, of course I do play from time to time, who can not ? Not so much Arcade anymore, mostly NES, SNES, Genesis (Mega Drive), and of course Amiga. On nintendo systems It's mostly the Zelda series. On SEGA it's usually some random platformer. On Amiga again platformer as that's what I had most of and feel most nostalgic about (P'n'C adventure games (except for monkey island 1) are better played in ScummVM). One of my favs was Prophecy: the Viking Child (lol), somewhat obscure game only ruined by the insanely primitiv jumping "physics": First up, then down with no acceleration whatsoever. The atmosphere and music was pretty sweet.

I like point n click adventures a lot but Im not good at them :)
Google "clockwork man". Seems to be a new game in that style. I'll be picking it up in January for sure

Eve online (http://www.google.dk/images?q=eve online) is probably as close to Frontier that you get when playing a modern MMO. It's not for the faint of heart though. And yes, it's a point'n click game! :)
As for miggy games, I've been playing 1869 (http://takegame.com/strategic/pictures/g1869.jpg) quite a lot recently.
-
iPad - SimCity, Galaxy On Fire 2
iPhone - Outer Empires, QuickHook
Mac - BOH :D
Amiga - Exile, Putty, Lemmings 2 (always get the urge to play that around Christmas for some reason :))

I can't really move it to the amiga gaming forum as it's not amiga specific (and considering Kesa's alien breed thread was moved here from there, that would be hypocritical to say the least). This is actually the most appropriate forum but as it's not visible, I can only suggest "other operating systems" as an alternative. I think that one shows up.
-
There's quite a few mentions of Amiga games in this thread. I'd say it qualifies for the gaming section.

I love futuristic games (and movies), but prefer them in the P'n'C Adventure and FPS genres :)

I'd like to do some game and finish it to some day, especially considering I'm 100% self-tought in this field. I guess it will be in ECMAScript/Canvas for multiple reasons.
Railroad Tycoon
Addictive.

2011 is going to be a hectic PC gaming year. In april something, Portal2 comes out. In march the Dragon Age 2. Then in the autumn Mass Effect 3 and in 2011,11,11 the one I most yearn to dwell my self into, namely, The Elders scrolls 5. Skyrim. “The elder scrolls told of their return”(Max von Sydow speaking)
Christmas will be spent killing people in New Vegas. :)
-
First, in my above posts I mistook Transport Tycoon for Railroad Tycoon. I played the former.
Right now I play Simon the Sorcerer under ScummVM with Timidity++ as MIDI device, sounds pretty nice . I liked the game back in 1994, but got stuck walking back and forth between the snowman, and the rest of the world.
I shall say, the only thing I dislike about *some* Point'n'Click adventure games is tiresome overlong dialogs, yawn!
-
minecraft ! you will hate me for this ...

-
I've been playing "teeter" on the android phone I received for Christmas :)
Sad, I know, but it's quite addictive.
-
To Flash Games.
-
Breathless and Genetic Species on the miggy.
Bejewelled on phone when in the bathroom.

I wont :)
However, that reminds of the failed Simon the Sorcerer 3D !

The IRL game is (also) pretty addictive I can say.
To Flash Games.
I just had a short circuit.. :D

Can you concentrate while there ? :)

Hey, friend the flash games are as the old Amiga games you play them without you have install it and they are fast to play you don't need long hour to playing as the current PC games, for example the Barbarian in flash format, equal that the original.

Yes I understand that. I was just a little bit confused about the obvious typo "To", since I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be "Top", "Two", or something else. :)

Well, already I play to Battle Field 1942.
-
I really hate Battlefield 1942, mostly because the engine is so slow.
Anyway, Simon the Sorcerer is being annoying to me, I think I'm stuck at the level of progress as I did back in 1994. Also, my memory has apparently played tricks on me when I mentioned a snowman earlier, it seems it was a tree in a snowy environment.
Now, I keep asking myself if I'm going to try to solve my stuckness wasting hours, or cheat...
edit:
Started playing after a few days again and I'm not stuck anymore. A few days rest from playing was enough to build up the brain functionality again.
Turns out my memory didn't play tricks on me after all, there really was a snowman, and this time I obliterated him in an instant :D
edit 2:
Finshed StS this morning. Sam and Max Hit the Road is next !
-
This is Einstein, with license to spoil!
Here I go again; Sam & Max is being annoying to me. I'm stuck trying to complete my bigfoot disguise mission, and for this reason haven't played since yesterday
-
After completing Sam & Max I, with few hints from walkthroughs, because I couldn't detect (scrolling the mouse over and clicking to get into a new location/room) some things, I'm stuck on NES emulation for now.
Completed Zelda 1 and 2, and now playing Battle of Olympus. I can't wait till I finish this one as I'm a little bit "seasick" of NES emulation for now hehehe.
-
Right now, I am playing at nothing :(
I need to finish up Fallout, New Vegas, as my son has already beaten it 5 or so times and I have yet to have done hardly anything in it.
It'll have to be after the end of term, though...
-
Was thinking about doing a few play-throughs of Sub-trade tonight. It's the best M.U.L.E clone ever. :)
-
Left 4 Dead 2, Minecraft, some Ipad stuff when I don't feel the need for a proper input device.
-
worms for android ! :)

Started playing Simon the Sorcerer II about two weeks ago, and finished it last night. FWIW: never do the same mistake
