Hi Wayne,

I've had ground school before but never had the cash for the behind the wheel part, It is expensive. I do like home audio/theatre stuff. Got into that when working on cars and home automation stuff. Cars are also cool,
Loved since I was a lad in around 1967 or so. Any electromechanical stuff is cool. Astronomy, also way cool,
 thinking of spending over a grand on a decent telescope. May move to Arizona. Nice clear sky.

Wayne,

I used to have a Subaru WRX as my wallpaper until I bought one. Now I have that pic of the XLRG, the one with the sunset in the background. Once the WRX is payed off the XL maybe my next big purchase. As always Burt Rutan designs are always easy to fly.

@T_Bone,

How could a Velocity not take off? Forget to install the canard? Too much epoxy making it too heavy?

I have a 1939 Merkel over and under shotgun with a stock made from black forest wood. It's very nice.

Hi Wayne,

The canard is supposed to make it very hard to stall. I suppose it must be low airspeed/engine trouble.

"nothing relieves stress like blasting through a twisty on a heavily
forested mountain road."

Thats what My WRX is for.
