Wikipedia: SCA virus - not much there though

There are disassembly listings of the virus available, but depending on your local legislation they are probably illegal to obtain. I disassembled it personally while it was still legal in finland.

Here is Amiga Virus Encyclopedia

Why is anyone's best guess. I'd say "because it was possible".

How... That gets to the legal grey ground, and I cannot go into that due to legal reasons (finnish law), and I doubt US law is any more permitting about it either.

just out of curiosity, why is it illegal to disassemble a virus ? Sounds like a breach of civil rights.
I believe in mt. Fuji

Because our legislation says so. Creating and distribution is made illegal in the criminal law chapter 34 - section 9a - Criminal computer mischief (951/1999) (The Penal Code of Finland, page 78). My understanding is that the law is interpreted in a way that studying (for personal use) is considered offensive aswell (some other chapter of the law might be involved, IANAL). The only legal way to dissect viruses is for special studies and work (anti-virus companies). Even then you're not to break the law obviosly, so you can't distribute anything.

Sounds like a breach of civil rights.

That hasn't been the concern around here lately. It's even illegal to have organized discussion about breaking copyright protection.
