Hi mate,

Not sure about the usb sound, but i've got a usb to ethernet dongle that plugs straight into a wireless access point working...

The dongle is a Belkin model F5D5050 bought at Harvey Norman and the access point is a D-link DGL3420...

There was a list of chipsets in a news post & comments on here that you could check to see if its compatible but if others have vouched for it then there should be no probs...
I'm using it with my installation of Easynet from Amigakit...

I'm curious about the usb sound also, from memory you need to install AHI drivers but hopefully that should be fairly painless...
