They have been trying to pull this stunt here in the U.S. too. So far it has failed, but they keep trying. I keep writing my representatives, and urging others to do the same. But not enough people seem to get this!
The U.K. really scares me. Personal liberty seems to be going down the tube. If it happens in one place, it make it easier for the extremists everywhere.

According to Blackheath the banks included Royal Bank of Scotland, HSBC and a few others. Because of this investigation, many banker CEOs have been resigning and many even fleeing their homes.

So,    I gather you are supporting these new laws. There are already laws on the books (in ALL countries!) that cover these situations.
We do not need more laws!
