Which Amiga games do your children like the most?
« on: February 09, 2008, 01:08:58 PM »
Subject is right: children, not kids! My 2-year-old son loves to sit in my knees and watch me playing Hugo, Car-Vup and The Lion King on my A1200.

Can other parents out there point me some new stuff? The player is a bit bored of the same games again and again :-). Browsing through HOL / Lemon Amiga is a hard time and they are not child-tested.

Thanks.

I maintain a site on everything, Amiga too (in Spanish)
Regards to all amiga fans!   :-)

Yeah! Super-fast A.org response, as ever!
I'll try these two. I'm opening another tab to search for them at HOL...
Thank you!

Hey! Arkanoid! The bouncing ball, destroying every brick! Thanks!
Still ashamed I didn't remembered this one by myself...

Dear AndrewBell, thank you very much for the ideas and the support. But, I think the posting guidelines says something about piracy, and this link smells like a cave of pirates...
Maybe its time to edit your post and cancel the link before the admin do it for you?
Again, thank you for your help. But piracy it's not a (public) option, at least.

Then accept my apologies and excuses...
I've seen Prince Of Persia. Abandoned? The greatest game of history? Can't believe it... :-)

the correct english is "kids". the word "children" is archaic and went out of fashion many years ago.

Are you talking about a word or the Amiga? :-) I'm old-fashioned! I love retro-computing, why not retro-slang?
The New Oxford Dictionary in my MacBook tells me:
Quote

USAGE Kid, meaning 'child,' although widely seen in informal contexts, should, like its casual relatives mom and dad, be avoided in formal writing.

And I'm very formal
Thanks. I'll write it down and try to be more "cool" and "new-fashioned" :roflmao:
