I am still finding AF 12 a pain in the neck, maybe it's because I have the value version.
'Commodore is Awesome' have been gradually converting their library to RP9, tho so, if it helps at all, you can get their library up to 'E' in RP9.
If i get something behaving before you do, i'll hit you back.
Thinking you know why you behave as you do gives you all sorts of excuses for extraordinary behavior.

Gotta say, Mcb, I'm curious how and anxious to get the most out of AF12 can I jump in on that offer to A3000 also?

Thanks, dude.
It's nice to know I got some backup in my rediscovery of Amiga gaming.
Also, to have an AF12 thread on this forum makes sense, certainly for me.
Until I can get an X1000, my emu' is my Amiga fix. :)

Right...to business

Dragging WHD's, btw, onto the main player of AF12 no longer seems to work to get a WHD to load on AF. Which is a pain when trying to use a CD32 game.
I have the Plus edition, so i have all the ROMs.
It's a great WinUae interface, but I've only had it a couple of weeks so some of my old faves and missed wonders elude m
Again, thanks.

edit.
Oh, HDF...is that the old equivalent of WHD?
I am so noob to this.
Hope you don't find me to be hijacking your thread a3000:)

After extensive mucking around with AF12 i found a theme, it tends to be newer games that have trouble.
They'll run the 'crack screen' but then go on to reboot kickstart, guru software failure or just hang with a blank, coloured or striped screen.
As there is this theme re:compatibility, I think I am doing something wrong rather than it being down to individual ADF's and RP9's.

I've tweaked with the ROM settings for the systems and memory allocation.
Still it dislikes later games...the ones from my era...d'oh.

Any pointers would be invaluable, thx. :)

I've found, through a little helpful advice here and there, that's it's seemingly better to just use WinUAE once you have the ROM's.
SPEEDBALL GO!!! XD
