X500 Plus - Assembling -
« on: September 14, 2013, 12:58:48 PM »
Yes, I'm assembling them... :)

First sorry for the lack of updates, I've had a few aluminium and powder coating issues which are getting sorted. The assembling of the X500 Plus model is going well.

This is a quick video. Select HD and enjoy the music by milabrya.

Cool, looking forward to it! Hopefully the FPGA will release soon as well so I will have something to put in it that's not a PC. :)

The SAM460ex I'm using for testing the LEDs and power switch fits nicely (it's a flex-atx board). You can use one expansion slot, I've put a cut out on the rear of the case so you can install a low profile card.

The 440ep also fits being a mini-itx and so does my Gigabyte H67N-USB3-B3 with 8GB, 3120T dual core cpu and Radeon 6570 2GB PCI-Express card but I wouldn't push the picoPSU (not included) too much. But a nice little system nonetheless.

The case comes with 2x50 silent fans on the top, one 40mm silent fan on the rear and one 40mm fan on the right side. You can add an extra 40mm fan on the right by moving the existing one (one space) and have a total of 5 fans.

The minute I've finished with the Plus cases I'll start assembling the Evo models.

Thanks :)
