Direct links to warez have gone unchecked lately, so I guess I should take that as an indication of the new policies.

It's probably a sad sign that there is so little actual retail software available now that warez are becomming a way of life.

How's MOS 2.0 for the Efica coming along?  I have a board and if I had the OS to run on it then I could support some software developers on that platform?

Is there anything similar for the C64/C128?

Cheers.

You will be able to do a similar job with the MMC Replay when it comes out, but you will have to feed it the games yourself.

Wayne could clarify further, but here is my take on the current moderation policy concerning piracy.

Previously no discussion whatsoever was allowed. However this was viewed as overbearing and draconian, plus US copyright laws have become more lenient concerning so called abandonware. The new policy still enforces concerning direct promotion of viable/recently supported software and leaves other areas a little more slack.

Is there any genuine concern that it is unethical to allow this discussion?

Seriously, let me know and I will forward to Wayne. Also I have not seen any direct links to warez, if you see such a thing feel free to PM a moderator.

I have made this product only with software that was available for more than a decade for free download over the internet from various sources.

I got my ROM images from the Zimmer's commodore related web site.

All software on this cart were published prior to 1985.

I truly hope nobody thinks I charge for the software itself.

As for PAL compatibility, I can only say that "most" (but not all) games on the Behr Bonz cart are compatible with the PAL system.

They ALL work with NTSC systems.

I suggest to european buyers that they wait as I will release a fully PAL compatible version of this cart in one month or two.

The vic-20 Denial forum is exclusively for VIC-20 users.

I can't give screenshots for 127 games but you can test them yourself using the Xvic included in the VICE emulator and ROM images published on www.zimmers.net

Oh boy, I've gotta get one of these!

Do they have a cart-cover or is it a bare PCB?

I too need a PAL version and could you PM me with the cost including shipping to Melbourne, Australia?

Cheers,

Mike.

If you have 127 games to recommend and know for sure work with PAL VICs, I would like you to tell me.

I previously posted the names of all games contained on the Behr Bonz. Maybe you could tell me which ones don't work well with PAL and recommend other titles as replacements.

I am still looking for a generous soul living in the world of PAL who will recommend games for the PAL version...

Nick Coplin is working on that. However, unlike VIC, C64 carts do not have a standard "presentation" from the computer's point of view. Manyare more than 16k in size and have special systems for flipping visible content.

It would be possible to limit yourself to 16k only games that contain no special hardware but I already hear all the people complaining about missing games.

My personnal favorite C64 cart is Super Zaxxon... Much better than the disk based version. I truly don't have a clue how I could make a multicart that includes this game. It has 20k of ROM stored in a weird manner that uses minimal banking.

All the large capacity carts with 256k ROMs are completely off limits considering my own abilities and they are likely to be the most requested games.
