Description: Okay, this is the last one. The underbelly of the a500ide board. Nice and neat surprisingly. Just ignore the burnt bits. My soldering iron is a bit over-zealous.

yeah, 40w may be a smidge excessive! I use (when I get the chance!) a 15W antec jobbie.
when I was young and innocent sorry blindly naive, I had a 100W Soldering gun that was hot in 3s ! not ideal for ICs I can tell you!

*cough* yeah well. It takes about a second to lift the track and blacken the surroundings. I guess a $6.00 40 watt soldering iron with a copper tip isn't exactly great. Ah well.
Kind of glad I don't have my biometric keyboard connected atm. The soldering iron left its mark on my fingers too!!
