Traveling to Hatfield UK
« on: April 08, 2009, 02:50:57 PM »
Hey everyone.

It looks like work is going to send me to Hatfield UK for a week. I have never been to the UK before and was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers.

I am landing at Heathrow airport and need to get to Hatfield. What is the best way to go? I was searching on the web and found that I could take the "tube" to Kings Crossing and then catch a train north to Hatfield. How difficult would this be while dragging a suitcase? I've heard that Kings Crossing is a bit hellish to navigate if you don't know where you are going.

I would love to just hop in a cab outside the airport but I'm worried about how much a 45 minute ride would cost. Do cabs there take credit cards or would I have to carry cash?

Any thoughts on the subject?
Thanks.

Piccadilly line from heathrow to kings cross, then catch a train will be the easiest/cheapest option... A taxi will cost about £50 to £60...
