Title: ShapeShifter running with PiStorm32-Lite
Post by: bradhansen1 on May 22, 2023, 11:33:26 PM
Hi All, I have copied a whole bunch of Mac Roms off the net and gotten my own PowerMac 1400c rom.
Downloaded and installed ShapeShifter II. But when I try to run it, it ask me for two specific Rom files
which I do not have. So I am at a loss to get it working (as usual). It there some config file where I can
change the Rom file it is looking for or is this software too outdated to work now?  Is there an answer or
a fix that will work?
Appreciate any help and thanks in advance.

you'd need a Quadra ROM.

Quickest way is probably to download Pimiga or Caffeine OS and start from there.

Hello and thanks for the advice. However I have no interest in running either PiMiga or Caffine.
I want to run native Amiga software on my A1200 and build my own ShapeShifter. I will
look for a Quadra rom.

you don't need to use either distributions, just boot them once and copy the stuff you need.
