HI, I have the live cd too. It is basically running Knoppix which is in turn emulating an amiga(3,x). There are instructions on the Amiga Forever site on how to install it to a hard drive. It is fairly simple. From there it should be quite easy to convert it to an Amikit install. Hope this helps.

Edit: Personally I use the windows version and just set it up so that it loads directly into Amikit instead of explorer
