In the 80's the original cost was £199. I'd expect something higher than that.

Hmm yes I DID and please tell me what exactly does that tell us that we already did not know wise-ass?
I asked because after a LOT OF INTERNET GOOGLING I did not find any NEW information..
I was hoping that someone here had an inside track and might know something new..
Forgive me if your having to respond with a one-liner was too much to ask for..
Online forums get nastier every day and now it appears the loser trolls have infested this site as well..

I would say until we can actually hold the product in our hands, or buy it from a store (aside from seeing poorly rendered 3D representations), it's vapor. :lol:

Euh, if the official website (and facebook) doesn't give you more info, than I guess you can conclude there is no more info... This comes straight from the guy behind the project.
Forgive me that your (slightly more than) a oneliner starting post insinuated that googling was too much trouble to ask :)
BTW no hard feelings, sorry if you felt offended wasn't my intention, I just wrongly conluded you didn't have the actual most up to date info, but you had.

Fair enough, I over reacted anyway so apologies. Just seems like every time I ask something in social media today I get some snarky response like "Next time try googling"... Yeah like I never thought of that..
I have tried all kinds of searching and have not found any current news so I thought maybe someone here had something as many of the folks here are insiders and are often "in the know"
At this point looks like my answer is "NO, there is no new information as of yet"

That is my plan as well.. Also, I am not a fan of the wedge case for the A1200 so I would like the A1500 case to replace my wedge..

The Checkmate facebook group is updated fairly regularly...it seems to show up in my facebook feed virtually every day, so, what's there ought to be the latest.
