Hello,
Im having problems with my new mediator 4000di and my pci cards. Specially with a Radeon 9200 PCI 256mb/128bit/ddr (5v version).
When workbench starts, or when lauch the mediator config program, a software failure appears with this info:
ramlib
program failed (error #80000004)
wait for disk activity to finish
Pciinfo works only with the realtek and the soundblaster cards, but it shows 9 cards!
First pci: soundblaster, 2 to 9: realtek!
The ramlib error appears ramdom with the soundblaster and the realtek.
My Amiga:
A4000 040, 16 Mb Fast RAM
FastLaneZ3 16MB Fast RAM (If I quit this card, the error appears too).
Rom 3.0
Workbench 3.0
Its new hardware (the pci cards too), I have bought the Mediator in Amigakit on december 20th .
I dont know what to do...
Thank you
Best Regards

try to swap cards between slots, iirc i had similar problem with my A1200 mediator and placing ethernet card in last (or first??) slot solved it.

Are you using rom 3.0 or 3.1?
I tryed all combinations of card possitions and jumpers ;(
I have rom 3.0, the softkicks does not works for me (a3040).
Im going to buy a 3.1 and try...

I tryed these things:
1. I changed the card from first slot to second.
2. Turn on
3. pciinfo works!
4. Reset
5. pciinfo works!
6. wait for 20 min
7. Reset
8. pciinfo ramlib program failed (error #8000004) :(
The error is random ;(

im using 3.9 custom roms with all patches included on first boot.
but should work with classic 3.1 rom.
ive not tried 3.0 cos its really obsolete and i cant use os3.9 with it properly (two reboots?, no way)

Ok, now I have roms 3.1
Jumpers in Mediator:
Master closed
Others open
With pci cards, my Amiga 4000 rebots all the time when turn on.
Without pci cards I can boot...
