Indy 500, just because it was 4 left hand turns over and over and over again, but, I love that game...

and

F1GP(on my old A500), because the worlds most advanced motorsport in slow-mo is just not F1...

I wasted soooo many hours playing them two alone...

F1GP was the nuts with the patches and an accelerator!

Frontal Assault was a fun artillery war game.  I liked it better than Scorched Tanks but at the end of the day, it's just an AmosPro program with source available.  That's the only reason it's better.

My guilty fav. is 'Town with no Name" for the CDTV.  Terrible graphics, game play was formulaic (you knew where to shoot every time for each bad guy) but the humor was right up my alley!

If your not a fan of westerns, you won't get half the jokes, but if you are...:roflmao:

I'll have to put Wings of Death on this thread.  I used to absolutely love it back when I played it on my Atari ST.  But I tried it recently on my A4000 and it felt a little off.

Of course that could be that I'm just terribly rusty at it!

F1GP, I remember my cousin playing that 'slideshow' really hard. :)
Indianapolis 500, so many hours with that game.

I don't understand why anyone would put Blood Money and Dogs of War on objectively not so great list.

Blood Money has not only incredible intro, and breathtaking in game graphics, but it is also a very playable and fun game, with a little bit of humour too (remember that snowman?). I finished 3 planets without cheats many times. Although I can hardly believe anyone could finish the fourth one without them.

Dogs Of War is great with two players, also the idea that you can do the missions in the order you wish is great. It has one good feature which many other similiar games don't, which constantly let me down. In DoW when you fire a weapon, the character stays in place. For me it is very important.

Oh yeah!  I also LOVED the intro music to FULL METAL PLANET.  I would load it just for that.  Still have no clue how to play the game... :(

For some reason, I really liked the "Hook" adventure game by Ocean...

Llamatron is cool and difficult. My vote goes to Rainbow Islands. I played it the other month with all the cheats on and couldn't get beyond the 3rd or 4th island. Just too hard mind you I suck !

I love a lot of the Sierra games that were made for PC and ported (poorly) to the Amiga...even though the screens look better on PC, for some reason, I like to play them on my a4k more then in DosBox :)

My favorites are the Hero's Quest/Quest for Glory series.  Those games are awesome!  After that, Space Quest, and Leisure Suit Larry.  They are timeless.  There haven't really been any games like that since, unfortunately.

Indy 500 is even better if you simply did a 180 and go round the track backwards, try doing any more than 3 laps like that without a spectacular head on collision... :)

Discovery - in the steps of columbus (Impressions, 1992)

For me, the first "discover new land and settle on it" game in real-time! I loved this game so incredibly much, i think i spent months of my lifetime on it back then.

Also, Mega Lo Mania - replaying level after level until i found out how many people *exactly* i needed to just beat the CPU. Also, months of my young life... gone :)

Great topic :)

Rockstar Ate My Hamster: very dumb, but somehow funny... i play it at times.

Turrican 3: sounds odd, but maybe I'm one of the very few who likes the third part as much as the first and the second.

Oldtimer: nice graphics, and interesting historical background. But the game itself is very boring...
