Converting .smus files possible?
« on: December 21, 2006, 01:18:07 PM »
Hi,

I'm trying to help somebody who's had an Amiga in the past to convert some of his old music files to his Mac.
He still has some Amiga disks with .smus files on it, which he made with Aegis Sonix, and he would like to have these converted to .mid files so he can use it with Garageband.

Since I don't know anything about Sonix or .smus files I would like to know if it's possible to convert .smus to .mid, and if so: with what program (Sonix), and will the samples in those .smus files (if any) still be the same.

Any help is welcome!

Cheers,
Eric

You can convert them to one big sample with UADE, but I doubt that's so useful here(?)
