Hmmm,
Starglider 2
Shadow of the beast. (honestly, myself and friends were picking our jaws up off the floor after seeing the GFX)
lotus2. fast. 4 player serial link mayhem!
bomberman. 4 player on one machine crazyness
stuntcar racer. link up dueling!
monkey island 1/2. even my mum got into playing these
indiana jones and the fate of atlantis.
flight of the amazone queen.
ledgend of kyrindia.
battle cars. excellent playability. linkable!
xtreme racing. multiplayer kept my A4000 alive while at university.
superskidmarksAGA, dual machine, dual screen racing!
pinball dreams/fantasies/illusions. awesome GFX and music
slamtilt. GFX/music, and HD installable!
populous 1/2. link up battles!
the settlers!!! more link up battles, or co-op play!
the CUamiga coverdisk JagXJ220 demo was fantastic. fast GFX, music and SFX at the same time, but the game itself have slower/jerkier GFX, and only music or sound FX, so felt a little let down on that one to be honest.
Zany Golf. who remembers seeing it on gamesmaster way back when? :-)
Lemmings!
worms!
kights of the sky. link up dog fights..
flashback.
no second prize.

god this is a right trip down memory lane!  :-D  :-D

i think i'm going to agree with Edpon on this one...
the publishers and developers really seemed to have earned their crust at this time.
when ever you saw the psygnosis owl face on boot up you knew you were in for a treat.
Bullfrog too, for doing the populous series, theme park, syndicate...
Electronic Arts actualy ment something back then...

makes me think that these days of corperate money, infinite ram, massive processors, pixel/vertex shaders, GPU's ... something has been lost along the way...?

its almost like asking, why are hollwood blockbusters all crap re-hashes these days? i get games off steam these days. don't bother with shops. the last thing i got that was actually interesting was portal. maybe i'm growing up  :-o   "in my day...."
