Thanks for the link! (I would bookmark the page, but AOL's completely screwed up at the moment).

As the pages say, building anything like what they're working on costs a LOT of money, something which im not really prepared to fork out for just yet...Hence the reason for tinkering with something that only cost a tenner... :-D

He seems to have gotten enough interest in his work that various people donate bits of kit.

Apparently, his 40W CO2 laser tube was donated :-o

(Mind you, we've also acquired various *goochy* bits of gear over the years by knowing people in the right places so I won't complain...)
