I personally think the terms "gay", "straight" and "bisexual" are inherently narrowminded. It's like saying there's black, white and only one shade of grey. They are a convenient way of referring to someone that sleeps with either sex or both but problems arise when their preferences change and I think people are too quick to assume homosexuality is purely the result of disposition or purely a choice.

I think it's likely that people close to the middle of the heterosexual/homosexual "scale" (if I may) might be affected in such a way that their preference changes. What disturbs me a great deal more is the idea that homosexuals, faced with the difficulties of gaining acceptance in the community might have retreated into denial. I don't know if that's possible; I really hope not.

There's Black, there's White, and all the Grey's are bisexual. ;-)
There's different shades, sure, but grey =  bisexual.  :-)

Wouldn't that make almost every person who walks the Earth bisexual? ;-)

I'm talking in terms of attraction. I doubt many people are purely black or white on this matter.

I'm with T-Bone on this one I think.
Because sex is 'serious business'.
Still, it's a hormoney thingy. Wonder if there are bi's who one day they are attracted to men and the other day to women :-?

I don't know about that... a man who looks (a little bit) like a woman might be attactive to a straight guy... but at the end of the day it's a female that he's attracted to.

What you need to say is, what sexual organs do you find attractive... If it's a vulva then you like women. If it's a penis then you like men. If it's both then you are bisexual. I think it is that simple.

That's the point I was trying to make earlier.  These "cured" people in that Jesus webpage, might just be bisexual and have just "gone off men" for a while. :-)

Who?  The people who wrote the website are lying?

Or you think the "cured" people are lying to themselves?

Have you read all that webpage?  It's about a film with real people in it.  One of the people was the "star" of gay film It's Elementary (1996).

Thought it was about a weblog :-?

anyhoo, the first wrong thing of your mentioned website is, that it has a goal, and having a goal is a sin in science.

Tsk tsk... one should always read the pages linked to in a thread.

It wasn't the website that is of primary interest, but the film it talks about.

Isn't reading linked pages in a discussion like reading a manual? Nobody ever does it? =).
