On channel 4 in the UK right now.

Very interesting program about a girl from one of the soviet satellite states who can see inside peoples bodies at the cellular level.

Sorry, I mis-read the title for a moment there, I was thinking, WTF is Blobrana doing with X Ray's eyes???

--edit--

Following this chain of thought, the next question was, WTF was X Ray doing that required Blobrana to pluck em out???

My first thought: what a load of bovine scatology. There is no visible radiation coming from inside one's body, and if there is, our eyes cannot detect it. Reminds me of the girl who was 'able' to cry glass.
Some people say that cats are sneaky, evil and cruel. True, and they have many other fine qualities as well.

To her credit, the girl doesn't claim to have x-ray eyes, the program makers just give her that tag to make people watch the show.

She was tested by SICOP and had to get 5 out of 7 diagnoses of patients illnesses for them to believe what she does.  She got 4 out of 7 correct.

You know, the thing that gives X-rays their ability to penetrate flesh is that they don't interact much with standard electron orbitals. Which means of course they can't interact with the back of the eye, either, so you can't see 'em. Not that X-rays are as common as ordinary light, anyway, or we'd have problems!

Anyway, however she claims to do it, I saw this documentary about this girl, or one like it. Her final assessment wasn't any more successful than someone just guessing. Yes, only 4 out of 7. I could probably do the same.

Not only that, but dog's (some) can sniff cancer out with a higher rate of success.

(It might be noted that I saw this in a BBC documentary as well... It just made it to PBS in the US)
