Hi
At the same time Motorola lost US$ 3.2 Billion. Apple sales and profit plunged. The profit is down by 50%. Even MS threaten Apple to discontinue its MS Office for MacOS product because of poor sales.
Intel had production, performance and application problems with its Itanium CPU. Perhaps they should use HP FX!32 technology for porting X86 applications to Itanium / McKinley. HP is Intel's partner in Itanium development.
