well, a thread on ann.lu just got deleted (right before my eyes). it was the one announcing trouble with AW.

yesterday there seemed alot of bickering. and it just now it had about 5 pages before it went blewie!

why can't people stop this nonsense? :pissed:

It's more then bickering. If you got the chance to read that whole thread, you would of seen the pure hatred between certain groupes of people. It's a festering sore that will not heal any time soon, if ever. :-(

I have a feeling that many of the people that post on ann.lu do it just for the purpose of trolling.. I doubt many of them care much of either Amiga or MorphOS/pegasos.. They just think it is fun to troll  :-(

ok, i was being "diplomatic"  :-D
and i think i missed the last page or so. doesn't matter, it's all stupidity.

sure, there are certainly people involved in this (or were involved) that i can honestly say i "hate". but i certainly am not going to waste my time talking about them.

they are dead to me. and i have too many things to do. i'm not wasting anymore of my life dealing with dickheads, thank you.

the best revenge is success. and the best way to be successful is to be creative. so that's my F U to all the people who deserve that.

"trolling" on a web site is utter idiocy and i wish these children would grow the F up, already.

well, i'm going to met some friends of mine tonite. we'll do some talking and i'll bring my DVD of the Sopranos (which they have never seen) and i'm having a good time.

I came to the sopranos late, I watched all 3 1/2 seasons in one week, then it drove me nuts having to wait a whole week between episodes after that!

...and then a YEAR without ANY episodes ARG!

Amen to that Cecilia.  That's the best advice I have heard on not only this sorry situation but most of life's insults in general.  I have long been involved in a situation at work that has really gotten me down.  I have kept my head down too long and let life pass me by, no more.  It is time to move on and be successful and let that be my best revenge. :-D

But I might have a few other F U shots up my sleave before I am done.  :lol:

cecilia, you misinterpreted my post dear. I was not validating that thread, I was just stating an observation after reading it. I never really followed the red/blue war, but I know now that a lot of ppl got hurt to the point that they can never forgive or forget. Their hatred, not mine, will go on & I'm just glad they take it to ANN & not here or AW. Don't shoot the messenger, I'm on your side. :-)

Well,  personally, I gave up with that site ages ago, I only visited the dark side for a brief moment when AW.net went down, as you can be sure that someone will have started a thread there,  once I had assertained that the site was really down, and not just my ISP playing up (which does happen sometimes) I got outta there as fast as possible.  I compare that place to hell, although there's probably a lot less flames in hell

Arrhhh, that's better,  I'm in a much better, safer place now.  

Anyway, is there any update as to what is happening,  it must be quite serious for it to be taking so long,  normal procedure would be to simply restore the system from a backup and be up and running again in a few hours. (or is this where someone says, "Backup, what's a backup"
