Title: Kickstart Rom Extracts: How Do You Check Version Number?
Post by: unknown1 on October 31, 2013, 05:36:17 AM
I have finally got fs-uae up and running on my iMac but am trying to get my A1200 kickstart ROMs onto it. I have the extract (several, in fact, to make sure I have something that works) as a kick31.rom file. How do I tell what version it is and if it is working? So far I only have the A500 emulator working in UAE. I think I should have ver 40.68 for A1200 but am not sure.... fs-UAE doesn't seem to tell the details of the ROM file. Any ideas?

you can find its CRC32 in this table:

or use 'version' command in CLI.

This page gives the details on what kickstart is expected:
http://fs-uae.net/kickstarts

If you don't have the preferred one, you can override the kickstart on the rightmost tab in FS-UAE Launcher.
