>Intuition

Ahn those intregrated VirtualPrefs and Birdies running ontop
of OS3.x (yes I know based on orginal sources but still)

>RoadShow
I think that was allready demonstrated last summer (on Amithlon).

>MediaToolBox
The single most important part of any OS !!

Where is ExecSG ? Petunia ? The A1 booting OS4 (I think that
was in that OSNews-Article) ? Radeon-drivers ?

Sorry but if that's all they can show, than it's even longer to
the release than I thought.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

@zudobug

My last (public) prediction was mid february (didn't say what year  :-P ).

And thats for OS-A1 with all drivers and Radeon-2D.

@Treke/Piru

Since there is no talk about ExecSG on that show, and Warp
wouldn't make sense (context switches), I would say 100% 68k.

@Quixote

Don't know what that has to do with.

For removable devices you will need device and a mountfile.

Using removeable disk as HD is allready possible with the old
HDToolBox it just doesn't make any sense.

@simplex

1) Both RoadShow and the new Intuition have been developed on 68k.
(RoadShow is even planned to be available this way)

2) ExecSG is supposed to be API-compatible with Exec.

3) Even "nearly finished" is still unfinished.

4) Since Petunia doesn't run on ExecSG (yet) it would be
impossible to use any 68k-code on it, and if Hyperion could
do that, well than OS4 would be finished  ;-)

@jumpship

Never said anything about being half-empty(ready), but
a glass that isn't filled up to the marker can't be served.

Even if it's only a tiny bit that's missing.

@simplex
Maybe they want to demostrate Q2 (WarpOS) too ?

@jumpship

If I just filled the glass: It's half full.
If I just drank out of it : It's half empty.

If I have nothing to do with the current state of that particular class:

Who give a flying f*** it's       off topic
