Hello fellas! Does anyone know where I can download a copy of MorphOS for Amiga PowerUP? I believe the latest version is 1.4.5? I tried to use the link from the MorphOS Website (http://www.morphos-team.net/downloads.html) but doesn't seem to work.

I suppose we should just put the archive on morphos-files.net or so. The PowerUP version is no longer supported - it is not possible to register it anymore.

Oh I see. I thought it was released for free a while back? Maybe I remember wrong.

It was released for free, but to remove the time limit one had to register to receive a free key. Keeping the registration server up and running = work so we decided not to do this anymore due to low interrest. We figured most of interrested users already registered during the few years the server was up.

I missed that window - as I'm sure others did. If you ever bring the server back up or can make new keys let me know :) I'd like to run it on one of my A4000's. Thnx!

Oh well! It's a shame really but I understand. It was just a curiosity more than anything.
Any news on when version 3.0 will be released?

You can find the ISO logically searching Google. Despite MOS for PuP not be able to be registered, I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be available as a free alternative OS for experimenting on our beloved PPC accelerators.

Unlikely. The 2 hour limit isn't that bad though :)

Where? I have searched around but I can't seem to find it. If you know of a link please share?

Have they removed the two hour time limit/re-enabled registration?

no

no
Not much use then. :(
On a related note, has anyone had any success getting the CGX AGA driver to work with this?
-
Id be surprised if that worked. MorphOS classic does not support AGA

I know, that's why I wondered whether anyone had managed to hack it to work or not.
IIRC it didn't support my Mediator 1200 back in the day either which meant I couldn't use a PCI gfx card with MOS either.
