Title: DIP64 M68K IDE - Drive compatibility and Memory question.
Post by: brostenen on December 07, 2019, 04:08:04 PM
Hi all.
For some time ago, I bought one of these Socket adaptors with IDE controller/interface/port and 8mb FastRam.

I found a version called V425 or something, and I have it running with a real 3,5 inch harddrive and a CD-Rom drive in master/slave configuration.

My first question, is that I want to know if the FastMem can be disabled by jumper setting or something like that?

The second question, is if anyone here knows what combination of CF-Card and CD-to-IDE adaptor will work, and if it would still support optical drives like my current setup does.

My kickstart as of now is a Kick2 version 37.350
