Your cards only showing 256 colour modes because you only have those defined. Use CGXMode (it should have been copied to prefs by the cgx installer) to define nice 15/16/24/32 bit ones.

As for the terminator problem, either use bppcfix to get rid of ppc.lib completely, or set ENV:PowerUp/Terminator to 2 and ENV:PowerUp/Hidewarning to 1. Using bppcfix is cleaner, but does require an extra reboot on startup.

For the second problem i have downloaded the bppc fix but i have some files i dont know what to doe with .

Can you explain me what to doe with file i get from the lha file ?

There are a few "bppcfixes" out there, and some are for blizkick. Unless you want to learn to use blizkick as well, I advise just to use Frank Wille's bppcfix. It's a lot simpler to install.

If you don't already have this one, you can find it here: http://devnull.owl.de/~frank/BPPCFix.lha

Once you extract the LhA file, copy the file BPPCFix into C: and edit your Startup-Sequence, placing the line "bpccfix install reboot" (without quotes) at the very top of your Startup-Sequence, before SetPatch.

Now you can reboot, and you'll notice that your amiga boots twice. Don't worry: it will only do this once every power-up or after a very bad crash. You should find that ppc.lib is gone and no more termination requesters will appear. If you have any problems, read the readme file or send me a message.

And the best part is, if you want to still use powerup apps, just install the emulated ppc.library from here: ftp://ftp.uni-paderborn.de/ftp/aminet/pub/util/libs/ppclibemu.lha

Good luck, and enjoy your PPC Amiga. :-)

Where can i edit the startup sequence ??

Use any text editor, such as CED, BED, EditPad, MeMacs or ED. Don't use a word processor.

I recommend Ed. Use execute command from the workbench menu, in the text box that appears type "C:Ed S:Startup-Sequence" (without quotes).

A window should appear with your startup-sequence. Press down until you find the line where it says Setpatch, put the cursor a line above, hit return to make a new line, and add the bppcfix line there. Then select save from the menu, then quit.

It's done. :-) If you're new to editing startups I recommend you take care and make a copy of the startup-sequence before you edit it.
