"Private Messaging" in AmIRC
« on: November 02, 2005, 09:58:14 PM »
In other IRC clients I have used, I could double click the name of one of the other people talking in the room and it would open up a new window so I could talk privately with them. Similarly, if somebody else clicked my name, it would open a window on my client. In AmIRC, I can't find any way of doing this. It it possible?

Thanks
Mark

I tried DCC chat but got an automated response from the user's client saying that it was not supported :(

I didn't say it was AmIRC's fault

The group is actually web based and uses a java client. I was just trying to set up AmIRC to connect to it.
