Does this emulator realy work?

Play amiga games... run pd demos etc. etc.. ?

Ofcourse it works, the emulator is Winuae.. www.winuae.org, what you get in the package is all amiga os and kickstart images (legal) .. Also bonus stuff :)

It works very well, definitely recommended, especially for the bonus DVD content.

The price isn't bad, it's a few £ cheaper than I've seen elsewhere in the UK, provided it's genuine and brand new/sealed.

Thanks Technoid.... Just wanted to be sure :)

I dont suppose you could point me in the right direction for the software to extract '.lha' & '.dms' files ?

Err.. "Technoid"? That's just my A.org categorisation, I'm InTheSand!  :-D

Aminet is your best bet for common Amiga stuff.

A command-line version of LHA is here, and DMS can be found here.

If you don't like using the CLI/shell, you can find GUI interfaces for both of these, also on Aminet.
