Title: OS3.9 Startup
Post by: DaBest on August 06, 2003, 07:14:57 PM
Hi all..... I installed OS3.9 on my  A4000/040 and I always have to boot up twice to get to the settings that I have saved.  Any cure for this ???

@ DaBest,
OS3.9 relocates the boot rom in fast mem & updates it. This requires an extra boot to load :-o

@ framiga
He did not state 2 reboots = 3. He said 2 boots. On my system after power up the power light flashes and I must softboot ONCE to bring the system up

Hmm... Sounds wierd to me...

Mine only boot 2 times by itself... Wich is completly normal 1 for SetPatch and 1 for the OS3.9RomUpdate...

Oh yeah, and 1 for me :pint:

that behaviour could be the right one.

No need to softboot here. (with OxyPatcher are 3 but all by itself)

With BlizKick, you can reduce the boot at 1.

@ LP

Maybe its because I have an A2000 & boot roms are different.
