AMIcast Episode 13 - Daniel Müßener (Daytona)
« on: June 25, 2016, 03:36:28 PM »
Welcome to 13th episode of AMIcast. Today my guest is one of the best developer for Amiga system. If you know the names like Wings Battelfield, Tower 57 or Wings Remastered you know what I mean. Of course there is more like OpenGLES 2.0 for Warp3D Nova.

The interview took place on ACM in Wolfsburg 2016. This means it has a lot of background noise, but you can learn about Daytona and his plans, games and more.

At the end of episode is great song from Moby, from his album: Amiga Days (Remasters) - Volume 3 - Magic Stick.

Nice interview.

With regards to pre-order figures not reaching 300;

I think alot of us already purchased the Windows version.

Problem is that Wings remastered is only sold as some kind of collector version. Lots of stuff what I put directly to bin and it cost 54€. I would hapily pay some 30€, if I don't need have bad conscience to putting "collector items to bin".

@thread

daniel is a tremendous developer, one of the best in the amiga world today. i can barely wait for tower 57 to be finished so the porting to next-gen amigas can begin!

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here."
