Here's the little blog post with history I wrapped around it:

About 40 mins of Amiga 1000 doing Amiga things. If anyone's interested.

Great video! I remember the first time I saw an Amiga 1000 at my local computer store and it was magical. I was 14 at the time and coming from the Commodore 64.  The Boing! demo and RoboCity were jaw dropping.

Not to mention the Amiga 1000 was sexy as hell!  I have always thought the Amiga 100 and Amiga 3000 were the best looking of the Amiga line.  MHO of course.

Great memories!

Great, I watched a bit but will finish up later.
My first was the 1000 also, purchased in Feb. 1986. Still the most fun we all had computing.
Deluxe Paint was my foray into computer graphics along with Brilliance, Aegis etc.

I have few others now, 500 and 1200 but still wanted the old girl back. Recently picked up a 1000 and am hooking it up to a 1084s monitor. I would like to put a vampire in it, but no chipram would make that a bad choice. Some sort of ide to run would be nice because floppies are just unreliable anymore.
