hmm. not the first time awnet goes offline. seems not very easily maintainable considering blacklisting stuff and such, now it may occure its due to the technics used. i understand the ambition to run a site on an antique quarter of century old setup, but its a bit pity for that dumb application. given the ownder are os4 engaged, why dont they run it on some x1k or whatever has been considered more powerful and contemporary? are there stability issues even under *ix preventing this?
now, funny to think what would happen if it all went down the drain at once. with it fair amount of overall trolling backup, a fair piece of historical eveidnce. who knows, with majority of this lost, chances for some sort of restart of relationships in the scene might even improve.
not that i expect the individual recall to be erased immediately, just some sort of simple fate strike, perhaps unexpected for most, might be changing the course of this particular narration.
