Video Card Question
« on: December 17, 2013, 09:16:51 PM »
I have a Nvidia 8800 GS card.
It only works in Vesa modes.
I have used it with XP, Vista, Linux, and Aros.
Is there a program that I could down load that could test this card?
XFX is not helping me since I do not have an original receipt.
They do not make Nvidia cards anymore.
Thanks.

Thanks, I am trying to find out what the original bios for the card is. I went to techPowerUp and got theirs. I am wondering if this card has some cold joints.
Maybe someone will come out with software to check all of the functions on a card.
Thanks to all I guess this will be a card that will get experimented on in the future.

Which is why, I again, suggest you re-flash the bios.

Just replying to previous post. I have flashed to what techPowerUp has on their site. I do not know what the original bios version was.

It is an XFX card.
They have a database for bios.
