Amiga on the big screen
« on: January 05, 2019, 01:05:34 AM »
So I inhareted an older LCD projector that still has an XVGA input and mounted it in my home theater that I have behind the other projector and picked up a 30ft vga cable hooked that up to the 4 port vga switch that I have for my two Amigas and an Apple II GS.
Fired up the Amiga 2000 and projector and wow! That's better than I thought. I have a 120" screen and playing some of the old classics like delux pack an and delux Galaga is a blast!

I will post a photo in a bit but my kids who are teens now were like "I've got to try that out please!"

(well, I cant seem to post my photos as it keeps saying "attachment has failed security checks, please contact administrators") The jpg picture is only 100kb

What make and model of projector is it? Would like to find one that can cope with 15kHz refresh etc like my Benq BL702a monitor!
Its a Christie projector and Im using Indivision video cards in both Amigas to upscale the image to VGA
