Any good dealers in NE Pennsylvania or NJ?
« on: June 20, 2006, 02:57:26 PM »
Hi guys Im new here. Im not the most knowledgable amiga user but have had a couple over the years.

I just bought an A600 off ebay, I liked that it was small and I want to teach my daughter the early basics plus have fun with the great games it has.

I checked amigakit.com and it figures that they have a built to order a1200 for only 140 bucks , I just paid 80 for the A600 whoops.

Anyone know of any dealers in the NE that have good prices?

Not sure of any PA dealers except Software Hut www.softhut.com.  Most of the online catalog is out of date, but give them a call if you're looking for something.

Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

Does anyone know if Software Hut are still trading?

I fired them off an email recently but have had no response.

They are really slow at responding to emails It took them almost 2 and a half weeks to respond to one of my emails and another time they never did.. Calling them is the best plan.
Amigakit is a better option. They are located in the UK but they ship fast and have great coustomer service.
Amiga 2000HD Indivision ECS

I live in Washington State and Order from Software Hut when I need something!  Call them.  I am sorry to tell you but you are not going to find any dealer any closer to you!!!  Not sure if you are aware, but there are less than a hand full of Amiga dealers in the entire USA, let alone parts of a state...
Going Bananas over AMIGAs since 1987...

Looking for Fusion Fourty PNG ROMs V3.4?

Thanks everyone for the information.

I'm in Canada, so I figured Software Hut being in the USA would be quicker and easier.

I am also in Canada.

I have ordered many things from Software Hut and all went fine.

Yes their web site is out of date.

Cheers

I've used Software Hut many times and I've never been disappointed.  I just ordered from them late last week and the order showed up yesterday.  I've also never had an issue with them answering emails.

But, they do seem to do a store shutdown in the summer as when I ordered from them last summer I received an automated email that they were all on vacation and my order would be shipped when they got back.  True to their word the order arrived two weeks later.

I should mention I put an order through with them (Software Hut) recently, everything was A-OK.  Very good service.

I couldn't get them over the phone though.

I only wish they had more stuff in stock.
