Legally, does one need to purchase a licensed copy for every installation of AmigaOS 3.2?

Or is buying one CD to burn ROMs and install the OS on all Amigas owned by the user ok?

I don't know if my recollection is correct, but I think 3.1.4 was sold to be installed on only one Amiga and you had to purchase a license for every Amiga you'd like to install it on. Maybe I'm wrong though.

I bought my copy from Retropassion when 3.2 was released. Their page says that you can install multiple times without additional licenses, and they even offer the option to buy multiple sets of kickstart chips with one CD order.

To keep this topic un-biased and fair:

Another few stores that can provide the information and can be bought from for OS 3.2:

https://amigastore.eu/en/838-amigaos-32.html

https://amigaonthelake.com/amigaos-3-2/

Yes I ended up buying multiple copies of 3.1.4 for A600, A1200 and A4000. As each ‘ne had their own particular Modules and install on a set of Floppy disks. Luckily Hyperion have seen sense with 3.2 to include this as a buy one copy for all. 👍🏻
