Depends on the operating system you use. There are lots of ADF programs on Aminet that need Kick/WB 2.0. I of course suggest TSgui.

I was thinking of digging out all my old Amiga disk's and making ADF's. Can the ADF utilities make image's of all disk's, even the "NDOS" ones?

Some can, some can't. Some old games use a very non-standard track format that no tool will be able to ADF. Supremacy is an example. For these I suggest using their WHDLoad installers to rip the disk image instead. Of course, you'll only be able to use WHDLoad to play it then.

TSGui has the functionality of Toni Wilen's Rawread built in. You can create custom ADFs with it. If this does not work there is no possibility to create ADFs of these disks. Copy protections exist to prevent people from copying the disks. You might want to go to www.back2roots.com to search for cracked versions. Floppies that can be copied by a standard copy program can be transformed with any ADF program, no matter if NDOS or not. Only those with copy protections cause problems.

Bye,
Thomas

The simple solution to the above is so easy to do i am supprised no one has picked up on it,

Make the images using WHDload or JST so you end up with a 900K image and just rename the file to x (x = game name)  then add  .ADF to the end of the file name and boom it runs on UAE (not sure if all work that way but the ones i have done work)

Just a few titles which worked  when i tried it,

Lemmings
Road Rash
Bump n burn
Robocop
Zool 1 & 2
Mortal Kombat 2

Semantic nitpicking:

A "prefix" is usually NOT added at the _end_. _Pre_ usually means before ;-)

I believe "suffix" is what you mean. I wish I knew what that had to do with "suffocate", though. There _must_ be a connection. :-P

This thread made me remember a question I wanted to ask long ago. Is there any tools to let a real amiga mount and run an ADF game?
