Description: Here's my Amiga 4000 all buttoned back up after installing my new GVP-M 4060 accelerator. I'll have to open her back up soon to install some more ram and perhaps another fan should the rig run a little too toasty. With the 50mhz 060 board replaces a 50mhz 040 board (which I will attempt to transplant into my A3000). Now Lightwave and VistaPro renders are considerably faster, and opening up windows with lots of icons is quite a bit snappier. I use the black USB DVD burner for installing stuff on my netbook, but I hooked it to the Deneb just on a whim. I was pleased to see it works well as a reader with no additional software needed. I hear Frying Pan will actually burn CDs with such a setup, but I haven't tried it. I use MakeCD with the internal burner. Behind the mousepad is a small serial Wacom drawing tablet that works well wich such program as TVPaint, Deluxe Paint IV and Brilliance 2.0.
