27 Year Old Atari Archive Discovered!

Christian Zietz tried to restore of a 27 year old SyQuest drive taken from Atari's HQ.  Amazingly he was able to restore the files!  I love this kind of digital archeology.  Fantastic read here:

I wish somebody would find something similar for Amiga items.

Interesting read. Thanks for sharing.

On the Amiga side, the "Amiga OS 3.1 source code" that was circulating a while ago actually appears to be a partial dump of one of Commodore's servers. I say partial because some of the files refer to paths that don't exist in the archive. Still, there's some really interesting stuff in there. I hope a complete backup surfaces someday...
