Toaster Gear 4 Sale #2
« on: March 06, 2019, 12:47:41 AM »
Continuing from the Toaster Gear 4 Sale, the Toaster setup I would like to get $225.00 + Shipping or best offer. It will include the VT Flyer board, the Video Toaster 4000 board, the Octopus cable, 2 each *Compaq 10GB - 10K RPM SCSI HDDs, the VT 4.1 CD, the Millennium S/W & manual, one legal burned copy of the Aladdin4D V5.x on CD, one legal burned copy of the VT 4.3 CD, the Art Department Pro V2.0 package (the Magic Lantern S/W in the photo is no longer available) and the Amiga Desktop Video SE book. If there is any other VT software that I have that is not burned from an ISO or on supplied disk(s), I can make it available on my FTP server. I don't have the cable that goes between the VT and the Flyer board but diagram photo is included below.

*The Compaq drives were last used in a Linux box and worked perfect however, you might have to fool around with some jumpers (J2) and you may need some adapters to fit them to the Octopus cable.

Thanks so much for looking!  :) Also see below pics for more Amiga gear coming up 4 sale.

Up for sale in the near future will be an A1200 (in my sig - see pics here...)

Hello. I thought you had an ACA 1233n with FPU??
Do you have two A1200's?

At this rate pal you'll have no Amiga gear left at all!

Ah, Good memory Paul! I will still have one A1200, one A500 (in sig) & one A2000 (in sig)! Remember when my A1200 wouldn’t initialize (at Power on)  screen modes correctly with the IndiAGA-MKII? After much fiddling, I finally sent if to Antarctica to have it recapped which took 6 months. So, I bought another A1200 from a nice Italiano gal ‘cause I couldn’t be without an A1200! LOL. I then bought an ACA1232 for the 2nd unit. I do have an ACA1233N that I have never even used yet. I had inquired about the FPU upgrade but never did it. Now it’s just been sitting in it’s box for almost 2 years.  :-\  I’ve had two A500’s since 2005 however, I had to rebuild the one in my sig (that’s why I kept begging for an A500 keyboard last year). Remember (about 10 years ago) when my daughter caught the towel on fire that I used to cover it, as I used to keep it out in the garage, for when the buds would come over for beers and, like 8 of us, would just play PGA Tour Golf for hours! Good Times! The Golf & Beers I mean! So after 6 Miggy’s and 18 years, I have a LOT of Amiga wank, so to speak! HAHAHA.

Most of my friends have since moved away. Mostly during the Michigan depression years under Dem Gov Grandholm. I then lost my tech job in the banking industry in 2008 due to the (bogus) banking and housing crash. Michigan then got pretty much back on track during Rep Gov Snyder’s (the Gateway nerd) watch. Now we have another Dem Gov Whitmer who is hellbent on putting Michigan right back into poverty. MUST….. GET….. OUTTA….. HERE!  ;) The wifey (who still has to work another 5 years) and I are socking away every penny we can to move back to Mississippi. Sounds like I’m whining but in reality, again in my life at 62, I am taking the bull by the horns and doing something about my situation.  :D It pays to get debt free (since 2017) ’cause you never know what life will throw at you! Plus, it feels good to pass idle Amiga goodies on to those who will enjoy them! So, I’ll be here on AO for life!  ;D

BTW, I have a very good condition A1200 Italian keyboard for sale if anyone is looking for one.  :)

Glad you're still going to have plenty of Amigas around then. I'm not sure I could bring myself to sell any of my Amiga gear. I have an ACA1232 also, but it is currently unused. I'm going to overclock its arse off and hopefully keep that blue smoke inside as the saying goes.

I must say, your A1200 motherboard looks very blue. I've only seen shades of green ones (lighter or darker).

Harumph.....  $225.00 or best offer?

@Paul, document your overclocking with pics! It must've been the camera for the color differentiation.  ;)
