Can someone explain me how you will run OWB which consumes sometimes more than 200MB of RAM on a device with only 256MB RAM?

swapon

(p.s.  That's a joke..  The obvious answer is a trimmed down version of OWB, or another browser..  And it's less than 256M, as some of that goes to video..)
Amiga 1200 w/ ACA1230/28 - 4G CF, MAS Player, ext floppy, and 1084S.
Amiga 500 w/ 2M CHIP and 8M FAST RAM, DCTV, AEHD floppy, and 1084S.
Amiga 1000 w/ 4M FAST RAM, DUAL CF hard drives, external floppy.

Are you using a different Internet than me?

Possibly.
I have Firefox open right now with 4 tabs, and it's taking 259M.

So I don't see any reason why a more efficient browser couldn't handle a single tab or 2 with much less.

And I see that AROS has SVM (Swappable Virtual Memory) on the plan, so that would make it much more feasible..

Personally, I would think any website that uses that much memory itself is probably exactly the type of website I wouldn't go to..  :-)
