Am I reading this correctly on Trevor’s Amiga Blog? It appears that on a post dated Nov 5th 2012 Trevor states:
"They [AmigaKit] have a massive stock of new, Commodore manufactured, A1200 motherboards and an equally large supply of new A1200 cases and original Commodore packaging."
That would be some awesome news if true (and that I'm not reading this wrong)! And, if it is true, I hope they release soon so that A1200 accelerators and scan doublers don't run out before the motherboards can be shipped! :laugh1: They are already out of FastATA 1200 MK-IV IDE Interfaces.

If they do, its not listed on their website where they still only list refurbished hardware.

I assumed that when they stopped selling 1200s, it was because they ran out of the majority of their stock to put them together...
Would be nice to think that they are still out there...

Really? Hadn't noticed, but if they stopped they are back in stock now.

They used to have a huge stockpile that they acquired from the old Amiga dealers, maybe they have have sourced a new supply, are perhaps Trevor has seen them at previous visits to Amigakit and doesn't realize they are now sold out.

Hmmm, Trevor describes them as "New" but now checking back at AmigaKit's store I see that the "refurb" is back in stock. I wonder what these refurb kits consist of, new or refurbed parts?

I would really like to have another A1200 WHDLoad machine for home! :biglaugh: I stocked up on few duplicate items from AmigaKit way back... I even have a spare Subway USB kit!

AmigaKit has been awfully quiet on the subjects of this kind. One would think it would be in their best interest to be more active, engage and advertise.
"Hey guys, we have new motherboards and cases for sale!" - TAGADAGADAM one million orders.
"Hey guys, we have Petro's NOS Amigas for sale!" TAGADAGADAM one gazillion orders.

AmigaKit has been awfully quiet on the subjects of this kind. One would think it would be in their best interest to be more active, engage and advertise.

Maybe he wants to keep them all for himself. :)
